Pet Rescue
When in the course of our busy daily lives we
see
A pet so neglected and seriously in need of
love
Those special people never shirk
responsibility
As if directed by a special power from
high above
In the process of giving of themselves by trying
To keep the hope of our humanity alive and
well
Saving those who cannot save themselves from
dying
By finding caring people to house them for a
spell
Until kindness that swells
within a person's heart
Abides there within and sends them to the victims
aid
Housing them in loving care 'till death do they
part
There they join other pets so loved in the final pet
parade
