Leather dog leashes| In the 24 years that we have been in the dog collar and dog leash business, we have found that the great advantage of using leather leashes instead of nylon leashes is because over time the leather continues to become nicer and nicer. Leather dog leashes are much better for training a dog because they are not abrasive to the hand like nylon can be.  Personally, I still have three leather dog leashes that I have had for more than 20 years.  Over those years the leather has taken on a softness and suppleness that just does not happen with nylon.  We use only American tanned leathers which are superior in quality to the leathers made over seas. Our leather products are all made in the U.S.A. and are guaranteed to be free of defects in the manufacture and in the leather itself.
